Luc Deleu - Mobile living

Photograph on paper - signed
1970

Provenance: Flor Bex, former director of the ICC in Antwerp, Belgium

As an architect Luc Deleu was a pupil of the Belgian modernist Willy Van der Meeren. When Deleu graduated in 1970 he self-consciously distanced himself from architecture. From that point onwards Deleu consequently developed a career balancing on the thin line between conceptual art and architecture. Mobile living is an excellent example of how for Deleu life, art and architecture are intertwined.
